The upcoming disaster movie “Baekdu Mountain” starring Lee Byung-Hun, Ha Jung-Woo, Ma Dong-Seok, Jeon Hye-Jin and Bae Suzy. The film is co-directed by Lee Hae-Jun (“Castaway on the Moon“) and Kim Byung-Seo (“Cold Eyes“). The film revolves around volcano eruptions on Baekdu Mountain which threatens the Korean peninsula. Around the 9 second mark of the teaser trailer, a voice states in Korean “Breaking news. A volcano on Baekdu Mountain erupted.” Below is the movie’s “Launching” teaser poster.



“Baekdu Mountain” will be released sometime this December in South Korea.
